Mrs. Rosa Benedict, 84, a former resident of Creston, died Thursday at Indianola. She had lived in Creston for about 10 years before moving to Indianola 3 1/2 years ago to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Donald Mullins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Overton funeral home at Indianola. Burial will be in the King cemetery near Peru.
Mrs. Benedict is survived by five children, including a son, Loren Benedict of Creston. She also has 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Her husband, Mel Benedict, died in April 1968.
