St. Charles News

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 9th at the St. Charles Methodist church for Fred Hartman of Decatur, who died at the home of his son in Minnesota. Rev. Clifford J. Pine was in charge of the service, with burial in the St. Charles cemetery.

Lorimor News

F. O. Hartman, (Fred) 73 of Laurer, Minnesota passed away October 6 at Decatur, Iowa, where he had been a patient for several months following a stroke. Mr. Hartman was well known here having been in our community many years. In 1929 he moved to Minnesota.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, with interment being made at St. Charles.

He is survived by his wife and two sons, Lorenzo of Minnesota and Fred of Rock Island, Illinois.

Truro

Mrs. W. O. Patterson, Mrs. Wayne Hiatt and Mr. and Mrs. John Atkinson attended the funeral of Fred Hartman in St. Charles, Wednesday. Mr. Hartman whose home was near Decatur grew to manhood near Truro. After a long illness he passed away at the home of his son, Lorenzo at Leseur, Minn.
