Harry Parker Funeral Saturday

Harry Steven Parker, 40 of 224 East Grade, Winterset, died Tuesday, January 9, at his home. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January, 13, at the Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Updike officiating. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Des Moines on June 17, 1938, Mr. Parker was the son of William and Alberta Frost Parker. A navy veteran, Mr. Parker worked for Fawn Engineering.

He was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his father, William Parker of Norwalk; a son, Johnny Parker; daughters Betsy Lee Parker and Barbara Ann Parker, both of Des Moines; and a sister, Sherrie Slaven of Norwalk.
