ST. CHARLES

J. A. Eppard received word that his son, Glenn Eppard, died January 20th at Camp Pike of bronchial pneumonia. His body will be brought here and interment will be made in the St. Charles cemetery.

Glenn is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Eppard of St. Charles. He was employed in the head office of the Yeoman at Des Moines when he was called to the Army last July, from Polk county. He was doing clerical work at Camp Pike and for that reason had not been discharged.

The sympathy of this community goes with his aged parents and relatives in the bereavement of a son and brother.
