Ellen Fritz died at the home of W. B. Fritz last Saturday at the age of 80 years. She was the mother of W. B., Frank and Fred Fritz. Mrs. Bebe of Wiota, who died several years ago, was a daughter; also Levi Fritz, who died about 18 years ago. She was a highly respected citizen of Penn township.

Mrs. Mary Ellen Fritz, aged 84, passed away Saturday at the home of her son W. B. Fritz, a mile south of Dexter. She was the mother of Frank Fritz, of Earlham and Fred Fritz of Van Meter, leaving also seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren to mourn her passing. Four children, two sons and two daughters and the husband Christian Fritz have gone on before.

Funeral services were held at the home Monday, and interment was in Earlham cemetery.
