Macksburg

Mrs. Thos. Kirkland received the sad news on Monday morning of last week telling of the death of her son, Emory, in Canada. Mr. Kirkland and Will started on the Saturday before, but did not arrive there until Tuesday night. The body was brought back here for burial, arriving here Sunday afternoon. The funeral occurred Monday afternoon at the home, conducted by Rev. Spooner of Kent.

Note: Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
