WILLIAM NELSON ELLSBURY

William Ellsbury, aged 84 years, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 5, at his home on South Fifth street. For a year his health has been failing and on last Thursday night he had a stroke of paralysis, gradually weakening until his death yesterday.

Mr. Ellsbury came from Indiana to Madison county in 1853, locating in Webster township. There he resided until about twenty years ago, when he moved to Winterset, where his home has since remained. Funeral services were held this afternoon at Oak Grove church, followed by burial in the Wight cemetery in Webster township.
