ELIHU H. ROGERS, Old Resident Dies

Elihu H. Rogers, probably better known as "Skinner" Rogers, died at his home in the southwest part of town, Sunday, after an illness of several weeks. He came to Winterset at the age of eighteen and has since made this place his home. When the country was sparsely settled, he was quite a trapper, and a great lover of outdoor life. He leaves beside his wife, six children.

Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. L. F. Davis, and interment made in Rock City cemetery.
