DEATH OF A. J. HANN OCCURED FRIDAY

Life-Long Resident of This County Dies at Age of 73 Years

Andrew Johnson Hann, a life-long resident of Madison county, died at the Winterset hospital last Friday, where he had been taken on Monday of last week. He was 73 years of age.

Mr. Hann was born in Walnut township on June 13, 1865, the son of Hugh and Sarah Jane Hann. On Feb. 17, 1895, he was married to Mary J. Hogue. They were the parents of two daughters.

He had united in early life with the Methodist church at Peru. His home for many years prior to his death had been in Winterset.

Surviving are his wife; the two daughters, Mrs. Frank Ham and Mrs. Ray Nelson; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Welch of Winterset; a brother, Frank Hann of Des Moines; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church Sunday, in charge of the Rev. J. R. McNichols. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.

Andrew J. Hann Dies In Hospital

Andrew J. Hann, who spent his entire lifetime of 73 years in Madison county, died Friday morning in the Winterset hospital where he had been a patient four days.

Andrew Johnson Hann, son of Hugh and Sarah Jane Hann, was born June 13, 1865, in Walnut township. On February 19, 1895 he was married to Mary J. Hogue and to them were born two daughters, Mrs. Frank Ham and Mrs. Ray Nelson. A number of years ago he moved to Winterset. In early life he united with the Methodist church in Peru.

The surviving relatives are: his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Ham and Mrs. Ray Nelson; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Welch of Winterset; one brother Frank Ham of Des Moines; five grandchildren, Stanley Palmer, Juanita Epperson, Andrew, Darlene and Betty Ann Nelson; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church, Sunday afternoon at 1:30, conducted by the Rev. J. R. McNichols. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
