Pearl "Pat" Patterson, Des Moines

Services for Pearl "Pat" Patterson, 77, Des Moines, who died Jan. 23 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, were held Jan. 26 at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Elma Paff of Williams Bay, Wis., and Lester Paff of Ames officiating. Burial was at the Hartman Cemetery at Truro.

Mr. Patterson was born Dec. 12, 1907 in Clarke County, the son of Artie and Ellen Lamb Patterson. He attended Truro schools and married Helen Holmes in Princeton, Mo. on Dec. 21, 1932.

He had lived in Des Moines since 1956 and was a sales representative for L. W. Barrett, Inc., of Denver, Colo., since 1954.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Lynne Paff and husband Lester of Ames; three grandchildren; brothers, Harold of Des Moines, Donald of Garden Grove and Carl of Urbandale; and sisters, Lois Bonney of Denver, Colo., and Florence Smith of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, sister and infant brother.

Truro

Word reached Truro of the death of Pearle (Shorty) Patterson of Des Moines, formerly of Truro. Interment was in the Hartman Cemetery, Saturday.
