FRANK STEPHENSON Funeral Held On Nov. 25th

Funeral services for Frank A. Stephenson, 70, were held Saturday, Nov. 25th at Indianola, with burial in the Chase-McDonald cemetery northwest of Winterset.

A native of Madison county, Mr. Stephenson died Nov. 23, 1967, at his home in Indianola. He was a retired farmer.

A son of William Robert and Mary Rose Villiers Stephenson he was born on a farm in Crawford township on April 15, 1897. For many years Mr. Stephenson farmed northwest of Winterset, moving to the Indianola area about 20 years ago.

He was married to Marie N. Wilson in 1918 near Panora. She died in May of 1928. He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Virginia, his parents, and one sister, Ella Hoisington.

He is survived by his wife, Inez; two sons, William D. of Des Moines and Francis of Polk City; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Wallace of Des Moines and Mrs. Harley Phillips of Ankeny; three brothers, Elmer and William of Winterset and Jack of Peru; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Wilson and Mrs. Lloyd Ridout of Winterset and Mrs. Glen Wilson of Booneville; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

FRANK A. STEPHENSON Rites Saturday, Indianola

Services for Frank A. Stephenson, 70, retired farmer who died Thursday Nov. 23, 1967, at his Indianola home, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Overton Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Chase-McDonald Cemetery near Winterset.
