Former Winterset Realtor Was 82 Years of Age At Death

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Wilson Funeral home in Winterset for E. W. "Bill" Cummins, long-time resident of this community, whose death occurred here June 9.

Mr. Cummins was a life-long resident of the county. He was born here Jan. 27, 1883, a son of Thomas and Elizabeth Alexander Cummins, and was 82 years of age at his death.

He had engaged in the real estate business in Winterset over a long period of years. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church, and the I.O.O.F. lodge.

Mr. Cummins was married in 1910 to Myrtle Thompson. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by a son, Guy Cummins of Lorimor, and a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Stout of La Mesa, Calif. He also leaves six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Officiating at the service was Rev. John Fink with burial in the Winterset cemetery.
