Services For Cheryl Ruth

Funeral services were conducted here Monday, Nov. 6, at 10:30 a.m. for Cheryl F. Ruth, 74, who died Thursday Nov. 2, 1978, at Knapp Memorial Hospital in Weslaco, Texas. He was born April 18, 1904, in Peru, Iowa, the son of Thomas Fred and Venecia Grace See Ruth.

Mr. Ruth was married to Lenore Frederickson on April 6, 1925, in Peru. She survives her husband. Mr. Ruth was a farmer, retired in 1958. He lived in Madison county his entire life, except for the last years spent in Texas.

Besides his wife, Mr. Ruth is survived by a son, Hugh of Peru and a daughter, Ilene (Mrs. Mike) Holmes of Winterset and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Officiating at Monday's services from Collins Funeral Home was Rev. David Livingston. Burial was made in the Peru Cemetery.
