Dean Tidrick, a former Madison County resident, died Feb. 11 at his home in Houston, Texas.
Born Feb. 7, 1932 in Winterset, he was the son of Clarence "Pete" and Lorena (Wilson) Tidrick. He married Lila Smith of Winterset and they were parents of two daughters.
Services were conducted by Rev. William Green of Timothy's United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls, the Tidricks' former minister. The services were held at Forrest Park Chapel in Houston on Feb. 15. The body was cremated.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Cindy Ann Scott of Corpus Christi, Texas and Diane R. Heath of Cedar Falls, 2 grandsons; sisters, Audrey Swoboda of Grove, Okla., and Doris Ripley of Burbank, Calif.; and a brother, Lee of Placentia, Calif.
