Treva Huffman Robinson, 82, of Winterset, died April 15, 1996 at the Community Care Center in Winterset. Funeral services will be Friday April 19 at 11 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The Rev. Don Frank will officiate the services and burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.

She was born in Guthrie County on Nov. 15, 1913 to Byron and Lucy (Mitchell) Huffman. She married Ralph Robinson on Dec. 26, 1933 at Atchison, Kan. She was a retired school teacher, having taught at rural Madison County schools and at the Winterset Community School district as a second grade teacher at South Ward. She has lived in Madison County since 1929. She was a member of the First United United Methodist Church in Winterset, United Methodist Women, The American Heart Association, National Education Association, Iowa State Education Association, the Madison County Hospital Auxiliary, the Madison County Historical Society, The Winterset Education Association, the Retired Teachers Club, the Winterset High School Alumni Association and the Madison County Democrat Women's Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sons.

Surviving relatives include one son, Keith Robinson and wife Sharon of Bucyrus, Kan. and three grandsons.
