Madison County Resident for 58 Years Was 60 Years of Age
Ambrose B. Cram, a well known Webster township farmer for many years, died Friday, Dec. 31, at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 60 years of age, and had been in failing health for some time.
Mr. Cram was born June 6, 1894, in Fergeson county Montana, a son of George and Mary Hockenberry Cram. He had lived in Madison county for 58 years.
He was married March 8, 1916, to Kathrine Grout, who survives him. He also leaves an adopted son, Robert Cram, who is stationed at Madison, Wisc., with the U.S. Air Force; and three sisters, Mrs. Deedie Okland of Great Falls, Mont., Mrs. Marie Eagan of Murray, and Mrs. Orrella Hess of Afton.
Funeral services were conducted Monday from the Richards Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Arthur Weed. Burial was made in the Roberts cemetery.
