Hazel Lytton, 87, of 1805 Pearl Drive, West Des Moines, died from complications of Alzheimer's disease Thursday at Ramsey Home. No services are planned. Burial of the cremains will be at Ebeneezer (Ebenezer) Cemetery near Truro.

Mrs. Lytton was born in Brayton and lived in the Des Moines area 30 years. She was the retired owner of Lytton's Catering Service.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne; a daughter, Michelle Workman of Aurora, Colo.; two sons, Jan Lytton of Sheridan, Wyo., and Robert Garside of Las Vegas; nine grand-children; and a great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Brooks Funeral Care is handling arrangements.

Hazel Josephine Lytton, 87, of West Des Moines died from complications of Alzheimer's disease March 5, 1998, at Ramsey Memorial Home in Des Moines.

A memorial graveside service with the burial of the cremains will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 1999, at Ebenezer Cemetery, Walnut Township, Madison County, with Pastor Bill Branson officiating.

Hazel Lytton was born Dec. 3, 1910, to Ralph and Anna (Legian) Goodwin of Brayton. She was educated in the Anita school system. She married Wayne Lytton on Dec. 1, 1940, in Maryville, Mo. Hazel had been employed as a caterer. She also was a member of the First Christian Church in Atlantic.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and one sister.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jan Allen Lytton of West Des Moines and Robert Garside of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Grace Schoenthal of Des Moines; and five grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Kale Funeral Home of Truro.
