Beulah Irene White Kirsch, 71, died Tues., Aug. 20 at Bethesda Care Center in Winterset where she was a resident. Funeral services were held August 24 at Peru Methodist Church, Peru, with the Rev. Tapiwa N. Mucherera officiating.
A Madison County resident for 55 years, she came from Logan. She was born December 13, 1919 to Ephraim Arthur and Cora Alena (Hines) White in Lehigh, Mont. and married John Woodrow Kirsch October 2, 1938 in Madison County. She was a retired food service manager, having been employed by Bethesda Care Center. Mrs. Kirsch was a member of the Peru Methodist Church, Farm Bureau, Chit-chat Club, a former 4-H leader in Walnut Township and Past Worthy Matron of Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister-in-law.
Surviving are a son, John Wayne Kirsch of St. Charles; two daughters, Bonnie Lea Snyder of Peru and Connie Couts of Excelsor Springs, Mo.; three brothers, Leland White of Grand River, Everett White of Leeton, Mo. and Walter White of Raytown, Mo; two sisters, Dorothy Warner of Logan and Wanda Phalaw of Sedilia Mo.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Peru Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Peru Methodist Church or Minneapols Shriner's Hospital.
