Levi Fisher, Winterset

Funeral services for Levi Theodore Fisher, 84, are set for 1:30 today (July 28) at Collins Funeral Home. Mr. Fisher died July 25, 1993 at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Burial will be at Barney Cemetery in Madison County.

He was born March 22, 1909 in Barney to Thomas and Nellie (Read) Fisher. He married Eva Patterson, August 16, 1930 in Atlantic. He was a retired rural mail carrier and was a member of the Rural Letter Carriers Association and the American Legion. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Surviving relatives include his wife Eva of Winterset; three daughters, Carlotta Sawyer and husband Philip of Denver, Colo., Louise Hart and husband John of Winterset, and Carolyn Thrailkill and husband Ramon of Rogers, Ark.; one brother, David Fisher of Napa, Calif.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
