Death of J. T. Laughlin

Bevington. January 29. Special - J. T. Laughlin, who was at one time cashier of the Bevington bank, died at his home in Des Moines, Tuesday morning, January 29th. The body was taken to Carroll Tuesday night and burial will be there.

Mr. Laughlin made his home in Bevington for about eleven years, leaving there ten years ago. While only 55 years of age, he had been in poor health for some time, suffering from asthma, and had been bedfast since he had a stroke of paralysis six months ago.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Phillip, of Des Moines, and Joseph, of Detroit, and three daughters, Greta and Barbara, in Des Moines, and Marie in Boone.
