Rites For Fred Benham

Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Congregational Church in Anita for Fred C. Benham, of the Elsie Manor Retirement Home in Des Moines, who died at his residence on December 16, 1983 at the age of 84. Dr. Kenneth Miller and Rev. Royce Jones of Des Moines officiated. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Mullen Service in charge.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Benham of North Hollywood, California; a granddaughter, Kendra Benham, North Hollywood, Ca.; a sister, Stella Sue Parrott of Adair; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his two wives, Jean and Thelma; 3 brothers, Frank, John and Ralph; 3 sisters, Mearl, Pearl and Virgi; nieces and nephews.
