Frances Erma Turpin, 79, a four-year resident of Mentone, died Wednesday in Redlands. She was born in Iowa and formerly resided 27 years in Forest Falls.
Survivors include three sons: Ronald of Mentone, Wallace of San Bernardino and Ward of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; a daughter, May Appel Downey, 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. today in F. Arthur Cortner Chapel followed burial in Hillside Memorial Park.
