FORMER RESIDENT PASSES AWAY

Wilbert S. Fraley Dies At Home in Des Moines. Left Here About 40 Years Ago

Many of the older residents of Winterset have pleasant memories of a former Winterset man, Will Fraley. Mr. Fraley died at his home in Des Moines on June 15th at the age of 65.

He moved from Winterset to Des Moines some 40 years ago. From 1910 to 1919 he served in the Iowa General Assembly from Polk county. Prior to that time, he served on the city council for six years.

Mr. Fraley's father served as a plasterer here. The family resided in the northeast part of town.
