Charles Percival Miller, a well-known resident of the Truro community, died Sunday, May 4, in Winterset at the age of 86 years.
Mr. Miller was born Aug. 2, 1865 near Atalissa. He was married Dec. 19, 1888 to Ella Thorp. They were the parents of a daughter, Atha, who died in 1911, and a son, Will, whose death occurred in 1928.
Mr. and Mrs. Miller farmed near West Liberty until 1900 when they purchased a farm southwest of Truro, which was their home until 13 years ago, when they moved into Truro. He was a member of the Truro Christian church.
He is survived by his wife; and a grandson, Robert Miller of Winterset.

Perse Miller, a long time resident of this community, died at a nursing home Sunday evening, May 4, where he had been a patient for several months.
Funeral services were held at the Kale Funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 with Rev. Clarence Moore in charge. Burial was made in the Ebenezer cemetery.
