Friends here were surprised to hear of Lewis Alcox's death Friday night. He was buried Sunday afternoon at Elm Grove.

Louis Alcox an old settler of this community died and was buried at Elm Grove, Sunday.

Transcriber note: Family members spelled the last name as both Alcox and Allcox. Lewis seems to be the most used spelling in local newspapers. Elm Grove is an alternate name for Sayer Cemetery.
