Mrs. Ruth Crane

Mrs. Ruth L. Crane, 67, Twins Rest Home, 727 Perry St., Davenport, died today in St. Luke's Hospital after an extended illness. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the Runge Chapel. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation begins at 7 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Ruth McCleary was born in Winterset, Iowa. She married Clifton Crane in 1923 in Exira, Iowa. He died in 1963.

Mrs. Crane is survived by daughters, Mrs. Robert F. (Arline) Graff and Mrs. Jack V (Darline) Thorndike, both of Bettendorf; Mrs. Kenneth (Beulah) Herrman, Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. James (Ardyth) Schills, Bennett, Iowa; a son, Clifton M., Bettendorf; 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
