SERVICES HELD FOR FORMER HOSPITAL OWNER

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Stewart, 89, were held this morning at the Overton Funeral Home. Interment was in the Winterset Cemetery.

Mrs. Stewart died late Wednesday at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge where she had resided since December, 1967. Prior to this she had lived at the Eastern Star home in Boone.

Mrs. Stewart was a one time owner of the former Indianola Hospital which she opened in the 1920s.

Survivors include two grandsons, Joel Stewart of Houston, Tex., and Timothy Stewart of Agana, Guam.
