Page 13, Column 3FIELDER – Fred Fielder, 81, of 3521 Bales, died today at his home after a long illness. He was a retired farmer.
He was born in Galesburg, Ill., and has lived here 29 years. Mr. Fielder was a veteran of the Spanish-American War. He was a member of the Baptist church.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Vieth of the home, and Mrs. Jennie Pearl Batts, 3426 East Forty-fifth terrace; a brother, Clyde Fielder, Phillipsburg, Kas.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 7 o’clock Wednesday night at the Wilks chapel; burial in Patterson, Ia.
