W. O. Sheldon, 84, for many years a resident of Dexter, Ia., died late Saturday at the home of a son, O.T. Sheldon, of 1434 Fifth Ave., with whom he had been making his home recently.

Surviving are four other sons, Lester, Tucson Ariz., L.E., New York, N.Y.; Leon and Royal, both of Chicago Ill., and four daughters, Mrs. Lora Kalbach, Mrs. Doris DuPuy, Sioux City, Ia., Mrs. Ruby Bloom and Mrs. Carole Fisher, both of Chicago. Sheldon was a widower.
