Kerry Thurman of Las Vegas, Nevada, former resident of Madison county, died at his home in Las Vegas on Friday morning, September 24.
Mr. Thurman was born and raised in Madison county in Walnut township and lived there until 1912. Since that time he has resided in Montana, Colorado, California and Nevada. He has been in ill health for about four years.
Mrs. Kerry Thurman, the former Margaret Kirk, will arrive in Murray Thursday and the funeral services will be held there.
He is the brother of Allen Thurman.

Page 1, Columns 5 & 6K. G. Thurman, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died at his home there on Friday, September 24, 1943. He was 64 years of age.
Funeral services were held on Friday, October 1, at the Madison Chapel east of Lorimor. Rev. Clayton Shepard officiated at the service and interment was made at the Union cemetery, directed by the Watts funeral service.
Kerry Guy Thurman, son of Amanda and Crystal Thurman, was born in Clarke county, Iowa, on July 22, 1879. He, with his parents, resided near Lorimor for many years. He left Iowa about twenty years ago, moving to Montana. His resided in Las Vegas for the past three years.
For forty-three years he was a member of the Masonic lodge.
Mr. Thurman was married to Margaret Kirk on September 16, 1900. To this union two sons were born.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. K. G. Thurman; two sons, Gale A. Thurman of the U.S. Navy stationed at Mare Island, California, and Glenn H. Thurman of the U.S. Navy somewhere in the southwest Pacific area; one brother, Allen Thurman of near Murray; and one sister, Mrs. Lucille Durfey of Marshalltown.
