County Briefs - St. Charles

Mrs. Flossie Bean, wife of Glenn Bean, died at the hospital in Des Moines, Thursday, Jan. 16, after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon with interment in the Pleasantville, Ia. cemetery.

Mrs. Bean’s maiden name was Flossie Logan and about 30 years ago lived with her parents on the Samuel Martin farm, southeast of St. Charles. She was married to Glenn Bean, a native of St. Charles, who with three sons and one daughter, survive her.
