CLARA WOLVERTON DIES IN MONTANA

Mrs. Clara Ford Wolverton, 75 years of age, died at her home near Conrad, Montana, on Saturday, Dec. 30. Mrs. Wolverton was born in Madison county and spent most of her lifetime in this vicinity.

Funeral services and burial were conducted in Conrad.

She is survived by two sons, Ray Wolverton and Ott Wolverton, both living in Conrad. She was the last member of the Miner Ford family.

CLARA WOLVERTON

Clara Wolverton, an old-time resident of Pondera county, passed away at the St. Mary's hospital early Sunday morning after a short illness. The funeral was held at the Christian church Tuesday afternoon with interment in Hillside cemetery.

The deceased was a daughter of Menor and Diana Ford, and was born in Madison county, Iowa, November 10, in the year of 1867. The early years of her life were spent in this place and she was baptised into the Methodist church, in infancy.

In 1889 she was united in marriage with Emanuel Wolverton, at which time she became a member of the Christian church. To this union four children were born, two dying in Infancy. The deceased was preceded in death by her husband seventeen years ago. There remains to mourn her passing, one step-son. Earl Wolverton, two sons, Ray and Ott Wolverton, all of this community, also nine grandchildren, Merle Wolverton of Santa Ana; Mrs, Daisy Harris, Phoenix, Arizona; Roy Wolverton of Great Falls: Bruce Wolverton of Santa Ana; Mildred, James, Kenneth, Naomi and Corienne, all of this city, and five great-grandchildren, also many friends and neighbors.

Clara Wolverton was a loving wife and mother and a faithful friend to all. The sympathy of the community, of friends, is extended to the bereaved relatives at this time.
