Mrs. Leona Weirick died Sunday night in a Perry hospital following a prolonged illness. Services were held Wednesday morning in Perry and burial was in Harlan.
Mrs. Weirick spent several years in Winterset, employed at Mrs. Lillie Rogers Millinery shop. While here she made her home with her sister, Mrs. Carrie Overholt. Her niece, Mrs. Mrs Alex Tinker (Helen Overholt) of Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh, came to Iowa for the services. Mrs. Overholt, who is living at the Tinker home, was unable to make the trip on account of ill health.
