LAST RITES ARE HELD FOR MISS HANRAHAN

Services for Miss Margaret Agnes Hanrahan, 84, who died Monday about midnight at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Rose and ran in Des Moines, were held Wednesday morning at St. John’s church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. McNamara; burial was in St. Ambrose cemetery in Des Moines.

Miss Hanrahan was born in Binghampton, New York, living in Lee township, Madison county all the early part of her life. She taught in Lee township and in nearby townships a number of years, going to Des Moines to teach in the Washington grade school, where she continued her work until retired on a pension at the age of 70.

Her only close relatives are two nephews, James Hanrahan of Des Moines, Frank Hanrahan of Churchville, and a niece, Marguerite Hanrahan of Churchville. Two brothers, James and William, are deceased.
