Dennis Wayne Davis, 80, of West Des Moines, Iowa, peacefully left this world with loved ones by his side, on March 30, 2023, 10:1 p.m. at Ramsey Village in Des Moines, due to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

Dennis was born on Dec. 12, 1942, in Winterset, Iowa, to Frank John Davis and Melba Imo Murry.

Dennis brought smiles to countless people and had a way of turning any situation into a lighthearted moment with his quick wit and humor.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Ruth Joan (Beam) married June 24, 1967; his son, Deron Davis (wife Kimber); his daughter, Angela (husband Dan) Walsh; his son, Mike Davis (wife Jenny); and his nine grandchildren.

We pray that God’s grace and comfort be upon Dennis’s family and friends and that they find solace in the promise of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Rather than a funeral service, the family will be holding a private gathering to celebrate Dennis’s life.
