Wednesday, February 8, 2023Maurice McKee was born May 8, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Donald and Edith McKee. He passed away Feb. 2, 2023. He graduated from Winterset High School in 1964 and lived in the Minneapolis area for most of his adult life.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; twin sister, Marcia Weis; sisters, Barbara (Ivan) McDonald and Janet (H.) Schulze; his aunt, Fayola McKee; nephew, Ronald (Nova) Steensen; niece, Karen (Larry) Fiebelkorn; cousin, Jim (Ellen) Rogers; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Margann McKee.
Services will be held at a later date in Minneapolis.
