RITES SUNDAY

Burial of Mathilda Bauer to Be Near St. Charles

Services for Miss Mathilda (Tillie) C. Bauer, 75, will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Lilly's Funeral home. Miss Bauer died Thursday at her home, 1149 Twenty-second St., following a long illness from anemia.

A resident of Des Moines since she was a child, Miss Bauer was a member of the St. John's Lutheran church and Leach Rebekah lodge. Surviving are three brothers, Charles H. Bauer of Carmel, Cal.; George L. Bauer of St. Charles, Ia.; and Julius A. Bauer of New York, N.Y.

Burial will be in Union Chapel cemetery near St. Charles, Ia.
