Thomas McCall Dead

Thomas McCall, brother of E. E. McCall, died of heart failure Friday morning at Havana, Cuba. A cablegram was received here the same day from Mrs. McCall requesting that E. E. McCall come at once. He left Saturday evening and reached Havana Wednesday morning.

Mr. McCall was nearly sixty years old and was educated in Winterset. His wife was Lizzie Witt, a sister of Alvin Witt. He was a banker in Storm Lake and was afterward in business at the Union Stock Yards in Chicago.

He and his brother, E. E. McCall, bought a large tract of land in Cuba ten years ago and have kept all of it, Thomas McCall giving it his entire attention. The business will now go to his Winterset brother.
