Michael McDonnell, a former resident of Patterson, died in Des Moines Thursday of last week, and was buried in that city Saturday.
Mr. McDonnell came here from Pennsylvania. He was an old soldier and respected by all who knew him. His wife died in Patterson several years ago.

Michael McDonald, aged 75, died at 3 o’clock yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Margaret Hogon, 823 Tenth street. Heart failure was the cause of his death.
The deceased had made his home for some time with his daughter, who is the wife of William Hogon, a mail carrier. Funeral announcements will be made later.
