Mrs. John Freligh returned Wednesday to her home at Ft. Madison, Iowa, after attendance at the funeral of her uncle Joshua Thornton.

Present also at the funeral were Mrs. Melinda Madren, Mr. Thornton’s daughter, and her son Harold, of Lincoln, Nebr., who still remain in this city; and Mrs. Laura Silver and John and Edith Justice, of Berwick, Iowa, the latter being still present at the Thornton home.
