The Cooper family, residing near Tileville, is truly an unfortunate one. About two weeks ago a pair of young infant children of Frank Cooper died. The next week a little girl of Joe Cooper burned to death by her clothing catching on fire while the rest of the family were absent, and on last Sunday
--------- Cooper was passing through the ----- works, when the structure collapsed and fell upon him, breaking his -----. The new year opens sadly for them.

Transcriber’s note: Article was torn and hard to read. There are gravestones for two young children of Frank Cooper at the Union Chapel-South Township cemetery, and one for Elva Cooper, daughter of Joseph and Margaret Cooper. Not sure of what has been added information on the gravestone page is correct.
