THE COUNTY NEWS – Earlham

Enoch Males received a telegram Wednesday from Brookfield, Missouri, stating that his nephew, Earnest Woolery, son of G. B. Woolery and a former resident of this place, had shot and killed himself. No particulars were given and it is not known whether it was an accident or suicide.

The death of Earnest Woolery, mention of which was made in our columns two weeks ago, was caused by a gunshot wound in the breast, self inflicted. His wife had recently left him and it is supposed that brooding over this caused him to take his life.
