Page 5, Column 3Frederick Stukey died quite suddenly Saturday at his home in the northwest part of the city. The Odd Fellows took charge of the remains and Monday morning sent them to Albia for burial.

The funeral of Fred Stuckey was held at the Christian church at ten o’clock Tuesday morning. Rev. Perkins officiated and E. S. Downs was funeral director. The I.O.O.F. attended in a body. The remains were interred in Oak View cemetery.
Mr. Stuckey died at Winterset where he has made his home for the past four years. He lived in Albia from1858 until 1902. He was a good citizen and highly respected by all.
He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his death. The children are Miss Audrey of Winterset, Ralph of Chicago, Mrs. Anna Noble of California, Othello of Canada and Will of Illinois. Mrs. Stuckey and Audrey and Ralph attended the funeral. The others were too far away to get here. Mrs. Stuckey intends to sell her place in Winterset and make her home in California.
