CIVIL WAR VETERAN BURIED BESIDE WIFE

Funeral services for George T. Anderson, Civil war veteran, were held this afternoon at 2 30 o'clock at the Lewis and Landrith chapel, Rev. C. Fred MacLean, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiated

The veteran was buried beside the grave of his wife in the South Heights cemetery. He came here about four years ago from New Mexico, making his home with his daughter, Mrs. E. A. Snook, 1329 South Main street. Pallbearers at the service were from the American Legion.

Transcriber's note: The deceased was a long term resident of Madison County, appearing in Madison Township censuses from 1860 through 1900.
