Enola Gay Jenkins

Enola Gay Jenkins, age 72, of Adel, passed away at her home on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home – McCalley Chapel in Adel, with burial following at Oakdale Cemetery in Adel. Family will greet friends on Tuesday, November 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests casual dress for both events.

Enola was born on August 3, 1949 to Vern and JoAnn (Morrison) Morris. She graduated from Earlham High School. She married Carroll Jenkins on October 17, 1981, in Winterset.

Enola liked to read, do puzzle books, spend time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Maddie.

Enola is survived by her husband, Carroll, of Adel; daughter, Heidi (Karl) Welter, of St. Charles; son, Zachary, of Adel; granddaughter, Madelynn Welter, of St. Charles; and sister, Karen (Cloyd) Morey, of Clarinda. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Morris.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Adel Lions Club.
