Osceola Man Fell Dead On Highway Saturday

W. L. Hull Stricken by Stroke Near Community Park; Buried At Truro

W. L. Hull, 75, well known Osceola man, was found dead by the highway near the Osceola Community park Saturday evening. Death apparently was caused by a stroke of apoplexy.

The deceased owned a farm two miles east of town and it was his custom to walk out there of evenings and look after chores. When found he had a pail of milk setting on the shoulder of the pavement, and it appeared that he had set it carefully down and lay down to rest when death came.

The coroner was called and declares it was a plain case of death by natural cause.

Mr. Hull had apparently been dead but a few minutes when the first car stopped at about 5:30. For a time it was thought he may have been struck by a hit and run driver but the absence of any injuries precluded this supposition.

The body was taken to Truro for burial.
