NEWS OF INTEREST FROM ST. CHARLES

WESLEY JOHNSTON BURIED IN ST. CHARLES LAST WEDNESDAY

J. Wesley Johnston of Des Moines passed away on Monday, Nov. 11 at the Broadlawn General hospital in Des Moines. He was 77 years of age.

Funeral services were held at the St. Charles Methodist church Wednesday afternoon at 2 p. m .

Surviving are two daughters, Delia Johnston, Mrs. Margaret DuBois, a son, Lloyd Johnston, all of Des Moines, a brother, Albert J., of Ft. Madison, three sisters, Mrs. H. J. Switzer of Lake Worth, Fla., Mrs. Mollie Roberts, and Mrs. Jemima McGinnis of St. Charles.

Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
