The News has received a rather vaguely worded notice of the death of B. L. Linton and G. L. Linton at McLead, Kentucky. The latter died on April 17 while B. L. Linton, a former resident of Madison County died on April 21.

Our correspondent did not state the cause of his death. He was over seventy years old, and was quite well known in the south part of the county.

Transcriber's note: First name taken from 1880 Federal Census. Per census records, the deceased arrived in Madison County in or before 1860 and left after 1880. He was single and, while in Madison County, lived with his brother George, also single, who may be the other death referred to by the correspondent.
