Mr. Peter Sammon died Monday of last week after a sickness of four or five days duration and was buried on Wednesday in the Churchville cemetery. Mr. Sammon was an old and respected resident of this neighborhood and leaves a wife and grown up family to mourn his loss.

Transcriber's note: Census records indicate that the deceased lived in Lee Township, Madison County in the early 1870s before moving to Warren County.
