Friday, July 21, 1899Death of a Pioneer
Word has been received here of the death of John Brewer, one of the pioneers of this county, at the home of his sister at Doniphan, Nebraska. He had been here visiting old friends and relatives and had just reached the home of his sister when he was taken sick and being very feeble soon passed away.
